COVID 19 UPDATE. 23 March 2020
Nedlands Physiotherapy is reaching out to update you on our position of the latest recommendations from the Government and where we stand at this moment.
It is an extremely difficult time and our main focus is keeping our patients safe and well as COVID 19 falls upon us in WA. We all have a social responsibility to help contain the virus, by looking after one another and we are taking serious measures to help do this.
Priority appointments for urgent care
As primary practitioners we are often the first point of contact for many and we would like to offer assistance to those in acute circumstances who need immediate care relating to a musculoskeletal injury to avoid presenting to their GP or a hospital. Please contact us via email admin@nedlandsphysio.com.au if you are in desperate need of an appointment and we will do our best to accomodate you.
Michelle has ceased treatment at the clinic to be with family but she will be available for Telehealth in the coming week. Matt will be available at the clinic as normal. Please book online via our website www.nedlandsphysiotherapy.com.au for an appointment.
We will continue to maintain the utmost stringent hygiene protocols possible in the clinic and ensure appropriate social distancing in the reception area and treatment rooms.
Telehealth
We will also be introducing Telehealth in the coming week which will allow you to access physiotherapy services remotely via an online platform. Appointments will be available to book online via our website when this service becomes available. This will allow us to assess patients, offer appropriate and valuable advice and education as well offer self management techniques and progress or prescribe a specific exercise program to help guide you through your treatment and rehabilitation.
Finally, we will continue to monitor developments and recommendations in the coming days and advise you accordingly. We would like to thank all of you for your ongoing support and understanding during these difficult circumstances. Stay safe, stay home as much as you can and look after your physical and mental health.
We welcome you to keep in touch with us via facebook.com or on our website www.nedlandsphysiotherapy.com.au and for recommendations to help you look after your body and mind during this stressful time. We will all benefit from keeping a routine, staying active and connected and remaining positive.
We look forward to seeing you back in the studio and clinic in the future.
Best Wishes,
Matt & Michelle
